As I know there are other survival horror fans on board, I thought I’d pass this along.  There is a new multi-player game in development that is based around the Friday the 13th franchise that will be out in 2016.  You can play as either the camp counselors (trying to survive) or Jason himself (going after the aforementioned).  It is/has been funded by a Kickstarter campaign and will be available via Steam.  Effects creator Tom Savini is involved with the project.

It is not out yet, but the last I heard it will be released in October.  Kickstarter contributors will have it loaded on the Steam account once it is released.

The Beta was released, but I didn’t get to really play it.  Slammed by real life (long work hours, kids, household issues, yadda-yadda), but it looked very promising.  And it should be released completely very soon. :D
